Because of the shorter length of our courses, they do not qualify for traditional financial aid packages. However, we do offer an affordable interest-free monthly payment plan. You can get started for a low down payment and pay off your course over time.
No, students shouldn’t claim their NYICD tuition payments on their federal or state tax returns. Because we do not participate in the United States Department of Education student aid programs, we are not an eligible institution for students to claim or qualify for various tax credits. With this in mind, we do not send students or graduates 1098 forms or any other paperwork needed for filing your yearly return.
Yes, the New York Institute of Career Development is an online school. All of our courses are online, so you can access them at any time using any internet-connected device. Some of our courses include textbooks which we send via mail, while others include ebooks.

If you enroll on our monthly payment plan, your progress will depend on your payments. When you get started by making your down payment, you will gain access to the first section of your course. After that, you will gain access to the following sections each time you make your monthly payment. We do not accept transfer credit for any of our courses. Students wishing to transfer coursework from here to another institution should check with the receiving institution to understand their policy on transfer credits.
